The CMCF is inviting dedicated and motivated individuals to apply for the following positions:

Regulatory Executive (Several Vacancies)

Responsibilities:

  • Performing research and drafting of official documents and correspondences.
  • Able to perform monitoring functions of news sources and reports of industry developments in order to identify emerging industry issues and possible lines of policy development that may be used by the organisation.
  • To undertake in-depth research and administrative tasks for the Complaints Bureau.
  • Knowledge of content regulations in other countries is an added advantage.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 governing the telecommunications sector in Malaysia, and their regulations, guidelines, codes, policy under this law.
  •  Possess an excellent understanding in local media environment and able to process good networking relationships with the communications and multimedia industry.
  •  Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform through research, writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management and organization skill and ability to deliver under pressure and work within short turnaround times to address issues.
  • Pleasant personality, good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commited, motivated and results oriented person who is flexible in work approach to adapt to changes.
  • Team player with enthusiastic and positive attitude, and high standards of professional integrity.
